Requirements for applicants:

  • Completion of secondary-school education
  • Communication skills in Czech or English

Ideal technical environment for online instruction

  • PC – processor – number of cores – preferably 4, frequency – more than 2GHz, OPERATING MEMORY RAM – minimum of 8GB, Windows
  • Comfortable earphones/headset
  • Internet – optical connection, preferably a minimum of 50 Mbit/s (real value for videoconference: Upload min. 10 Mbit/s); the best connection is always via cable
  • A quiet, private room during instruction

Documents required for enrollment:

  • A completed application (applications for 2023/24 Summer semester will be opened by December 1, 2023)
  • A copy of your passport (the page with your photo and personal data)
  • A receipt confirming payment of the non-returnable registration fee (1 000 CZK)
  • document demonstrating completion of secondary-school education (notarized translation to Czech or English is required)*
  • Complete the Czech language level placement test  – in case you are a complete beginner, fill in the form here instead

* for applicants who are enrolling for the winter semester and who complete their secondary school in June of that year – this document can be submitted no later than on the commencement date of the winter semester (i.e. in September)

Picking up admission documents (upon request)

  • In person: Office no. 208 (2nd floor), Na Příkopě 584/29, Prague 1 (Česká spořitelna building) during office hours
  • Sent by registered post (free of charge) or express courier service (applicant orders and pays for service)
